WASTEWATER OPERATOR
Mon Valley Sewage Authority is currently accepting
applications for a WASTEWATER OPERATOR.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for
operating and maintaining wastewater facilities to
ensure safe and efficient service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Perform custodial duties and grounds maintenance as needed.
* Painting and upkeep of equipment and buildings.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of wastewater treatment facilities.
* Operate a forklift and pallet jack.
* Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
* Perform other duties assigned by the CHIEF OPERATOR OR GENERAL MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Possess or obtain, within 4 years, PA wastewater license class B, E and subclass 1, 4.
* The ability to perform heavy lifting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing to various heights is a must.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Valid driver*s license.
* This is a union job subject to collective bargaining agreement.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Fayette County Housing Authority is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director. This is a full time professional administrative position that reports directly to the board of Commissioners and is responsible for the daily operations of the Housing Authority. The position includes compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, providing leadership in advancing the mission of the Housing Authority to provide safe and affordable housing to the resident of Fayette County and directing the planning and implementation of all housing initiatives of Fayette County. This position receives fully paid benefits including competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, retirement, holiday pay and PTO. There is a six-month probation period.
The qualified candidate should have a minimum of three years of professional administrative supervisor experience in housing authority or other government subsidized housing or equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience with housing programs, financial management, and personal management is highly desirable. The candidate should possess construction, land development, and real estate experience.
